Léon Pascal KAMAHA is a Cameroonian compliance and internal control professional with nearly a decade of experience across banking institutions in Cameroon and the CEMAC sub-region. He began his career in 2013 as an Account Manager at CEC Cameroun S.A., where he developed skills in credit analysis, client portfolio management and payment operations. From 2017 to 2023, he rose to Internal Controller at CEC Cameroun, overseeing cash and banking controls, internal control frameworks, COBAC regulatory compliance, and operational risk identification. Since May 2023, he serves as Head of Compliance & Internal Control at BEKO Capital Advisory S.A., a brokerage firm operating under the COSUMAF and COBAC regulatory frameworks. In this role, he leads compliance investigations, trains staff on regulatory matters, monitors prudential requirements, and contributes to strengthening the firm's internal control system. In 2025, he obtained three major certifications: CAMS (Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist), CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor), and ISO 31000 – Enterprise Risk Management — demonstrating a strong commitment to professional development. Academically, he holds a BAC+5 in Corporate Finance from EMLYON Business School (France, 2018) and a Master I in Finance from the University of Dschang (Cameroon). He is bilingual in French and English.
