Definition

The ACA Expert level recognizes professionals who demonstrate advanced expertise and contribute to the structuring of compliance systems. It is the highest certification level within the ACA Registry.

Criteria

• High evaluation score (typically 75+)
• Significant experience in compliance, risk, or financial crime
• Evidence of system-level contribution — design, implementation, or transformation
• Senior responsibility or leadership in a compliance function

Evaluation Logic

Profiles are assessed through a structured scoring model covering years of experience, seniority level, specialization depth, operational environment, and institutional signals. Profiles reaching the Expert threshold may require additional qualitative validation before the level is confirmed.

What It Signals

• Strong professional credibility in compliance
• Ability to operate at a high level of responsibility
• Contribution to compliance systems beyond execution
• Recognition by ACA as a senior-level practitioner

Governance

Expert level may require validation by ACA through defined criteria and review processes. The level is assigned by ACA administrators following evaluation and, where applicable, qualitative review. It is not self-reported.
